Privacy Policy for Free Invoice Creator Tool
This policy describes what this website does and does not do with information. It is written to match the actual implementation, and it is short because the site collects very little.

1. Your invoice data
Invoice content never leaves your device. When you use the invoice creator:
- The business details, customer details, line items, notes and terms you type exist only in your browser tab.
- All arithmetic — line amounts, discount, tax, total — is performed by JavaScript running on your device.
- The PDF is assembled in your browser and saved directly to your device. It is not generated on a server.
- There is no account system, no login, and no request that sends invoice content anywhere.
We therefore hold no copy of any invoice created with this tool, and could not produce one if asked.

2. Your logo
If you upload a logo, your browser reads the file locally, checks its type and size, and redraws it through a canvas element to reduce its dimensions. Only the resulting image data is used, in the page and in the PDF. The file is not transmitted anywhere. Accepted formats are PNG, JPEG and WebP, up to 2 MB; SVG is deliberately not accepted because SVG files can contain executable content.

3. Local storage on your device
The site uses your browser’s localStorage for two things:

Local storage lives on your device. It is not a cookie, it is not sent with requests, and we cannot read it.

4. Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own.

5. Analytics
No third-party analytics or advertising script is loaded by this site. The site includes a small script that would forward anonymous interaction events — such as a click on a Google Play link — to Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager if one were installed. With no analytics tag present, those calls do nothing.
If an analytics tag is added in future, the events it can send are limited by design to anonymous interaction attributes: which page, which button, and which content area. Invoice field values — names, addresses, emails, item descriptions, prices and invoice numbers — are never read by that code and are never included in an event. This policy will be updated before any analytics tag is added.

6. Server logs
Like effectively all web hosting, the server that delivers these pages keeps standard access logs. These typically record the IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, the referring page and the browser user agent. They are generated by the hosting infrastructure for security and operational purposes, and they contain no invoice content.

7. Links to other services
Links to the Google Play Store carry campaign parameters that tell us which page and which button a visit came from. They contain no information about you or your invoice. Google’s own privacy policy applies once you follow a link to the Play Store.

8. Email
If you email support@freeinvoicecreatortool.com, we hold that correspondence in order to answer it. Please do not send invoice contents; we have no use for them.

9. Children
This is a business tool and is not directed at children.

10. Your rights
Because the site does not collect or store personal data about visitors, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct or delete. The invoice draft on your device is under your control and can be removed at any time with Clear invoice. For email correspondence, write to us and we will delete it on request.

11. The Android app
Invoice & Quotation Generator is a separate product with its own data handling. Its privacy disclosures are published on its Google Play listing, which is the authoritative source for what the app does. This policy covers this website only.

12. Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes will be described rather than quietly substituted.

FAQ
Privacy questions
Do you store my invoices?
No. There is no server-side component that receives invoice data. Everything you type is held in your browser tab, and the optional draft is written to your own device’s local storage.
Is my logo uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is read by your browser with the FileReader API, resized on your device using a canvas, and held in the page. It is never sent to a server.
How do I delete the saved draft?
Use the Clear invoice button in the tool panel, or clear site data for this domain in your browser settings. Both remove it completely.
Do you use cookies?
The site sets no cookies of its own. It uses your browser’s local storage for the invoice draft and for remembering that you dismissed the app suggestion. Neither is transmitted to us.
