Terms of Use for Free Invoice Creator Tool

A free, browser-based tool for creating invoices, and written guides about invoicing. The tool is provided as it is, at no charge, with no account required and no limit on use.

• Create documents that impersonate a business or person you are not authorised to represent.
• Produce fraudulent invoices, receipts or other documents, including receipts for payments that were never made.
• Reproduce another organisation’s invoices, receipts or bills.
• Break the law of any country that applies to you.
• Attempt to disrupt the site or the systems that deliver it.

The tool is for billing your own customers for your own business.

The tool calculates totals from the figures you enter, rounding each amount to two decimal places. You remain responsible for checking that the figures, tax treatment and details on a document are correct before you issue it.

Invoice drafts are stored in your own browser, not by us. Clearing your browser data, using a different device or a private window will lose them. We have no copy and cannot restore one. Download the PDF for anything you need to keep.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of this site, including lost drafts, errors in documents you produce, or business losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

The design, text, code and graphics of this site belong to Free Invoice Creator Tool, except for the invoice content and logos you supply, which remain yours. You may print and share the guides for your own business use; please do not republish them as your own.
